Swing Jazz Dancing Classes every Wednesday

47 people arrived for our first Jive and Swing Dance class. These happen every Wednesday from 7pm to 8.30pm in Duisdale Hall, Isleornsay. This is all in preparation for the Swing Jazz Festival which takes place from 31st October to 3 November. Lorayne McLucas from SkyeDance is our lively and confidence-building teacher. Already some folk who have never danced are getting into the swing of things. Everyone is welcome – you don’t need experience or a partner. Minimum donation of £2 each night.

Our new website

It’s here! Our new logo, brand and website has arrived. We like it – do you? While we’ve had a bumper season of events we’ve also been busy in the background developing our new look logo and website. Huge thanks go to Ian McKay who has developed our new branding and Tim from Skye Websites who have built our new website for us. Our new logo is designed to reflect some of the energy that SEALL is all about and to work well across all media

Blazin’ Fiddles

“Excuse my delay in writing to you, but I just wanted to thank you very much for setting aside, at late notice, four Blazin’ Fiddles tickets for my family and me on Tuesday, 20th August.  What  talented musicians and what a wonderful concert it was!  It was also great to get a chance to speak to Jenna in the interval.  It made my son’s day when she spoke with him and signed his CD!  It was my husband’s birthday that day.  He enjoyed himself so much.  It was our first visit to Sabhal Mor Ostaig and we hope we will have the good fortune to return again one day.
