Renowned for their creative fusion and for finding “a revitalised inspiration in the traditional music of home”, Breabach have garnered a string of industry awards over the past few years, including Best Group Finalist, BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards 2017; Songlines Magazine Awards Europe Finalist 2017; Folk Band of the Year 2016, Album of the Year 2016 and Live Act of the Year 2014 in the MG Alba Scots Trad Music Awards.

Their new studio album, Frenzy of the Meeting, has received high critical acclaim.

Bar on the evening will be provided by the Old Inn, Carbost, and there will be an opening set from local musicians.

The concert heralds the start of a week-long celebration of Minginish Hall’s 10th anniversary ending on Saturday, 27 June. During the week, events will include teas and evening cèilidhs with live music from the Breakish Cèilidh Band and Plockton Youth Band, chilli and quiz night, craft fair and family fun day.
