“One of the brightest prospects for the future of the instrument in Scotland” Brian McNeill

WITH STEVE BURNS, ALI HUTTON, KRISTAN HARVEY & ALICE ALLEN

A rare opportunity to experience the extraordinary talents of award-winning multi-instrumentalist Innes Watson performing music from his first studio album comes to the Fèis as a special treat.

With over 10 years of contemporary and traditional Scottish music performance, recording, teaching and producing experience under his belt, Innes launched his first album Guitar Colloquium at Celtic Connections this year to standing applause and the highest critical acclaim, including Celtic Music Radio’s Album of the Week in February.

Tonight’s performance is supported by a group of virtuoso musicians whose talents all feature on the album.

Prepare for a beautifully-arranged fusion of sublime compositions with elements of trad, folk, jazz, world and a few other genres added to the mix.

Opening set from Jos (accordion) and Elsa (cello) Galbraith, young musicians from Braes.
