SEALL is delighted to present an evening with Julie Felix.

In 1964, the American folk singer, Julie Felix, arrived in the United Kingdom and became the first solo folk performer signed to a major British record label. In 1965 she was reportedly the first folk singer to fill the Royal Albert Hall. To older British audiences she is best known from her time as the resident singer on the BBC television programme The Frost Report.

Now, in her early 80s, she continues to command a capacity audience, as evidenced by this year’s acoustic performances at Glastonbury and the Million Dollar Bash on the Isle of Wight in August. It is a true honour that she wishes to visit Skye and sing for us. But we also know from Julie, that she feels very excited and privileged to have been invited to our beautiful Isle, and join with us for a very special evening of music and entertainment.
