Visit Sleat is the official tourism agency of Sleat, where SEALL is based. The peninsula has some of the most beautiful scenery on the island and a great range of fabulous hotels, pubs and accommodation. Our restaurants offer the very best in local produce complemented with excellent wines, beers and whisky. Packed with brilliant moments, the Year of Food and Drink Scotland 2015 is a celebration of the country’s outstanding natural larder and produce.
There is something for everyone in Sleat, from walks across our rolling hills and sandy beaches, sea-kayaking around the rocky coasts, the magnificent gardens and the ruins of Armadale Castle at Clan Donald Skye, to amazing wildlife and the magnificent views at every turn. You can charter a yacht and sail our crystal-clear waters or study on a short course at Sabhal Mòr Ostaig, the National Centre for Gaelic Language and Culture. There is so much to see and do you’ll want to stay longer.
Add to that the SEALL’s Fèis an Eilein-Skye Festival in July and August with over 50 events and its fantastic entertainment throughout the year, Sleat is the perfect holiday destination, just a short ferry crossing from Mallaig with CalMac or a 30 minute drive from the Skye Bridge.
Come and share ‘Sleat, perfectly Skye’.
