Are you ready for … The Swarm! This year the SEALL puppet parade and family fun day has a bees and flowers theme and it is free for all the family as part of SEALL’s annual Fèis an Eilein.
The day begins with a parade from Kyleakin Pier at 11.30am culminating in a special pollination performance outside Kyleakin Community Hall where the family fun day continues until 3pm.
Throughout the day there will be live music, circus performances, giant puppets and lots of fun activities. Why not bring a picnic and blanket to make the most of the day. (In the event of bad weather activities will take place in the marquee and hall). No need to book simply turn up on the day.
The puppets will be created in a series of FREE arts workshops in the week leading up to the festival. The workshops creating bees and flower puppets are open to the public and led by Vision Mechanics, creators of giant puppet Storm. Other workshops taking place include bike repair and nature based workshops. Registration details will hit www.seall.co.uk soon
