A natural performer and band leader, Ewan delivers a transatlantic, soul/ folk inspired show with his all star band Herding Cats including; Dirk Ronnenburg (Fiddle), Bado Reti (Contrebasse), Tamlin Wiltshire (Drumkit and Pandero), and singers Caro Bridges and Sally Jaquet.
Ewan creates an intimate and laid-back setting for audiences to settle in, as he spins out songs and tales with thought provoking lyrics and a bombastic, heartfelt sensibility and effortless showmanship. This is a highly original and eclectic show not to be missed, with elements of Gaelic song more Morricone than Benbecula (Irish Times)!
A second generation puppeteer, musician, and Gaelic and English songwriter with four solo albums to date and various soundtrack compositions under his belt, Ewan broke in his live music stylings with shows across Canada and Europe since 2015 and prior to that as ex-lead singer of award winning Edinburgh bluegrass collective Southern Tenant Folk Union, and psychedelic funk outfit Ruby & The Emeralds.
