Seall are collaborating with Highland Seashore Project Festival for the first time to bring the Sleat community and its visitors a wide range of shore-themed events for your diaries, including storytelling, shore based safaris and scavenges, talks, walks and music in the form of an intimate and very special house concert!
Here is what we have planned:
Wednesday 2nd July – “Story Ceilidh by the Sea” with Alex Patience and Donald McNeill at Tarskavaig Hall, 8.00pm
Saturday 5th July – “Trash the Orchestra” Beach Scavenge with Pam Allan at SMO Talla Mhòr, Midday
Wednesday 9th July – “The Pier that never was”: a talk with Neil MacGillivray at Ardvasar Hall, 8.00pm
Friday 11th July – Rock Pool Safari with Janet Ullman at Armadale Pier, 11.00am
Saturday 12th July – “Trash the Orchestra” Instrument-making workshop #1 at Rubha Phoil, Armadale Pier 10.00am
Thursday 24th July – “Trash the Orchestra” Instrument-making workshop #2 at Rubha Phoil, Armadale Pier 10.00 am
Tuesday 29th July – A Walk at the edge of the World with Magnetic North Theatre at Armadale Pier 7.30pm
Wednesday 6th August – Lighthouse Stories House Concert at An Acarseid, Ord 8.00pm
Tuesday 12th August – Junior Ranger Seashore Scramble at Ord Beach 2.00pm (Highland Ranger event – all welcome)
