SEALL is seeking the talents of an individual or collective team with the ability and drive to create a visiton of the charity’s strategic future.
This unique opportunity comes at a time of celebration and innovation for a leading creative organisation in one of the most iconic regions of Scotland. The board of SEALL are seeking an individual or collective team to explore role and leadership of SEALL to support the development of the organisation and the exciting programme of performing arts events.
The ideal candidate or team will have strategic and change management experience at a senior level within a comparative organisation, likely within a public-facing cultural body (although other experience will be considered and may be equally valid). They will be experienced professional consultant(s) in a freelance capacity with the ability and drive to create a vision of the strategic future of SEALL as it celebrates 30 years of promotion.
Using their exceptional leadership skills, passion for the performing arts with a strong grasp of organisational governance, the consultant will consider the strategic approach of high-quality performance events across the Isle of Skye and surrounding area. They will have the skill and capacity to diversify funding and increase the financial sustainability of the organisation. The ideal candidate(s) will already be an active part of Scottish cultural networks and passionate about bringing high-quality events to the Isle of Skye. It is essential that the consultant understands the benefits that live performance brings to rural communities and the wider Scottish cultural ecology. The consultant(s) will be expected to experience SEALL events, in particular the 30th Celebrations from 26 – 29 July.
